A lovely three-bedroom apartment located in the heart of the "Barrio de las Letras," on a quiet street between the Paseo del Prado, where the Prado and Thyssen Museums are, and the Plaza de Santa Ana, which is famous for its terraces and tapas bars. Barrio de las Letras is one of the best neighborhoods in Madrid because of its proximity to the sights and its lively, local atmosphere. Madrid's three top museums, the botanical garden, the Retiro park, and the Puerta del Sol are all only a few minutes' walking distance from the apartment. The area is also well-known for its restaurants and tapas bars, including La Dolores, its art galleries and its theaters. Most of the streets through the neighborhood are pedestrian, so window-shopping and people-watching are very pleasant. Also nearby is the international Lavapiés district, where you can feel the multicultural mix of people of all backgrounds and try some great ethnic restaurants.

The apartment is well-communicated on public transportation. The Antón Martín Metro stop (Line 1) and bus stops for many lines are just around the corner, and the Atocha train station is a 10 minute walk away. Most major sights are within walking distance, and there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the surrounding blocks.
