 Days 1-3: Madrid (3 nights)
Arrival in Madrid. Visit on your own to Madrid's colorful flea market, followed by a walk to the famous Prado Museum featuring the classic works of Goya, El Greco and Valázquez. Day two takes you to the historic town of Toledo, the city of three religions. Your private guided tour includes the magnificent cathedral and one of the two remaining synagogues. Return to Madrid for an orientation meeting with us and a fun intro walk and tapa hop. Your last day here will be free for additional museums, concerts, the beautiful Royal Palace or the Retiro Park.
|  Days 4-5: Bilbao (2 nights)
Today you will fly to the stunning city of Bilbao, home of the famed Guggenheim Museum. Ever-changing, this Basque city is one of the most technologically advanced in Spain. First on your itinerary is a private guided tour of the magnificent Guggenheim Museum, including notes on its design by Frank Gehry. You"ll have free time following the tour and dinner reservations tonight. Your second day will include a city bus ride to enchanting San Sebastian, reputed to be one of the prettiest beach towns in PaĂs Vasco, and also famed for some of the best tapa places in Spain. We will make lots of great recommendations for you.
|  Days 6-8: Barcelona (3 nights)
This morning we fly to Barcelona, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Spain, exploding in diversity and artistic flare. Whether it is the genius architecture of Gaudà and Muntaner or Picasso and Miro's modern art, the world-class sights are endless. You'll begin your three days with an all-inclusive tour of the Gothic Quarter and the cathedral, with highlights of Barcelona's Roman past. The second day is an escape to the town of Figueres to see the Dalà Museum, with a chance to enjoy the fishing village at Cadaqués. Your final day in Barcelona allows for some free time to enjoy more sites. |
